
Enes Pektas is a emerging artist and currently a Resident Artist at Classic Lyric Arts. He will begin his Artist Diploma studies at the Mannes School of Music in New York City in Fall 2025, having recently completed his Master of Music degree. In the 2024–2025 season, he performs with CLA in various concerts and productions, following his participation in the CLA Berkshires program during the summer of 2024.
He recently performed Michele in Il Tabarro, and appeared in scenes as Figaro in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Count Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro, Guglielmo in Cosi fan tutte and Rodrigo in Don Carlo with Classic Lyric Arts. His additional roles include covering the Title Role in Don Giovanni, performing Leonidas in Lysistrata the Nude Goddes and Le Fauteuil in L’enfant et les sortilèges, at Mannes Opera and Light Opera of New Jersey. Also appeared in workshops with Mannes Opera such as Hildegard by Sarah Kirkland Snyder and Many Roads by Daniela Candillari. In bachelor’s he played Argante in Rinaldo at the Süreyya Opera House in Istanbul and worked on ensembles and scenes from Don Pasquale, Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, La Boheme. He has participated in masterclasses with Christian Van Horn and Lucas Meachem, and is worked with baritone Quinn Kelsey.
Pektas received awards from the Giulio Gari Foundation, the Gerda Lissner Foundation, and the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, as well prizes in the Siemens Voice Competition, the Thomas-Kuti European Voice Competition, and the Istanbul Baroque Singing Competition.
He is also very passionate about performing art songs. His recent performances include Mahler’s Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen and Ravel’s Don Quichotte à Dulcinée presented at Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall with Mannes Sounds Festival.
Pektas earned his Bachelor of Music in Voice from Istanbul University State Conservatory.
